Registration is now open for the next PKP Sprint happening on October 8th and 9th, 2024 in Turin, Italy.
Join the Public Knowledge Project’s Turin 2024 Sprint, hosted by the CRAFT-OA Project on October 8th and 9th, 2024, at Circolo dei Lettori in Turin, Italy.
PKP is a community-directed, researched-based project that has been able to develop free and open-source scholarly publishing software for 25 years as a result of continuing investment from global organizations and institutions that share our commitment to increasing publishing access, quality, and diversity.
As an open-source community, we believe in fostering consistent engagement and collaboration with our community. During PKP Sprints, the community comes together in an excellent opportunity to advance PKP’s software by jointly selecting tasks to tackle in teams.
Past sprint events have been focused on building plugins, documentation, conducting usability tests, and exploring new features.
You do not have to be technically inclined to attend this sprint! PKP software developers, programmers, users, maintenance staff, hosting staff, librarians, user interface experts, and individuals involved in publishing are welcome to sprint.
UPDATE: As of July 21st, 2024, registration for this sprint is full and is now closed. Thank you for registering!
