Join the Public Knowledge Project’s Hannover 2023 Sprint, hosted by TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology on September 11-13, 2023 in Hannover, Germany.
PKP is a community-directed, researched-based project that has been able to develop free and open-source scholarly publishing software for 25 years as a result of continuing investment from global organizations and institutions that share our commitment to increasing publishing access, quality, and diversity.
As an open-source community, we believe in fostering consistent engagement and collaboration with our community. This unconference-style event is an excellent opportunity to advance PKP’s software by jointly selecting tasks to tackle in teams. Past sprint events have been focused on building plugins, documentation, conducting usability tests, and exploring new features.
PKP software developers, users, maintenance staff, hosting staff and publishing specialties with interface applications and standards are welcome to the software sprint!
