“Inclusion in the DOAJ: A panel discussion” is brought to you in partnership with Coalition Publica, this June 28th, 2023, 10 AM CDT.

About 42% of the journals included in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) have been identified as using PKP’s community-driven Open Journal Systems (OJS) as their scholarly publishing platform. The OJS DOAJ community is growing!

Attend a panel discussion featuring experienced journal editors who use OJS, and library publishers, as well as organizations that support them, to learn more about inclusion in the DOAJ. During this informative session, our panelists will delve into the distinct technical and policy requirements that journals must fulfill during the application process. They will also share valuable insights into best practices, as well as the challenges they encountered and overcame along the way.
