Athenea Digital is one of dozens of journals hosted by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. One of the oldest users of OJS, they built a custom theme when they migrated from OJS 2 to 3, which gives each journal a distinct style through photo and color selection, but within a readable interface that is consistent across the journals.
The main objective of the journal is to promote dialogue and innovation in social and cultural studies. It explicitly claims an ethos receptive to debate and critical reflection, both theoretical and methodological, international in its outlook and scope, open, reflective, imaginative and de-disciplining.
