Join this webinar on November 1st, 2023, to gain insights into copyright and Creative Commons licensing considerations in OJS journals.

The first part of this webinar will provide an overview of copyright in the Canadian context, open access publishing, and Creative Commons licenses. We will also discuss practical considerations when selecting a license and working with third-party content included in a publication.

In the practical Open Journal Systems (OJS) demonstration, participants will learn how to add copyright and licensing information site-wide and at a publication level. We will go over where this information is displayed and how to make sure that potential authors, submitting authors, and readers know the rights and re-use options associated with a publication.
