OJS/OMP 3.2 Release Date and Code Freeze

September 3rd, 2019 by  | 2 Comments

PKP announces today OJS and OMP 3.2 will be released in January 2020. To allow adequate time for testing, translation, plugin, and documentation updates, all new features will be frozen on November 1, 2019. During this freeze, until the new release, we will be conducting bug fixes in response to testing, but not adding new code.

OJS and OMP 3.2 will include major improvements to the publishing workflow identified by the PKP community, including support for distinct article and monograph versions, as well as several user interface enhancements discovered through the forum, usability testing, sprints, and other venues. To sneak-a-peek, check out our GitHub milestones here.

Got questions? Stay tuned for feature highlights and further announcements coming this Fall.
