OJS 3 Editorial Workflow Course Now Available

March 5th, 2018 by  | 3 Comments

Our second PKP School course — on the OJS 3 editorial workflow — is now available! This course compliments Setting Up a Journal with OJS 3, released late last year, which covered the basic setup steps to get up and running.

Like all PKP School courses, this one is also offered completely free of charge, but does require registration on the site. The course is self-paced, so you can start whenever you wish and work through it as quickly as works for your busy schedule.

We hope this will help you learn more about the benefits of the latest version of OJS, and assist those of you responsible for training journal staff as part of your upgrade. As you know, OJS 3 is a significant move forward, based on years of gathered usability data from our users. This course should help to highlight those benefits and make the transition to OJS 3!

After upgrading our site from OJS 2.4.5 to 3.0.1, I experimented the workflow but could not find the way to publish, so we downgraded again for security. The many negative comments on PKP Forum frightened us !

    Thanks a lot!
