PKP Fall Sprint 2016 – Fredericton

July 29th, 2016 by  | Comments Off on PKP Fall Sprint 2016 – Fredericton

Get ready, PKP Sprinters, we’re gearing up for a Fall 2016 Sprint in beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, on Sunday/Monday October 2-3, 2016. The event will be co-hosted by PKP and our friends at the University of New Brunswick Library.

Our previous sprint, in Montreal, was a resounding success (read about the outcomes on the PKP blog) and we hope you will join us for what we are sure will be another fun and productive couple of days.

Format
As always, we’ll run it unconference-style, with topics proposed by the group. In particular, we’ll be focusing on OJS 3.0, hacking in experimental features, building documentation, and exploring the new software. Much of this work will be technical in nature, but there will be opportunities for non-technical contributors. We will also be accommodating remote participation.
