April 1st, 2016 by  | 1 Comment

There is still time to register for the PKP Sprint in Montreal, on April 25 and 26.

Co-hosted by PKP and Érudit, the sprint will take place at the University of Montreal in room C-3061, on the 3rd floor of the Lionel-Groulx building (3150, rue Jean-Brillant, Montréal):

We’ll be starting at 9am on April 25 and run through to the end of the day on April 26.

In terms of accommodations, Érudit has made the following hotel recommendations:

As before, we’ll run it unconference-style, with topics proposed by the group. In particular, we’ll be focusing on OMP 1.2 and OJS 3.0, hacking in experimental features, building documentation, and exploring the new software. Much of this work will be technical in nature, but there will be opportunities for non-technical contributors.

We are also accommodating remote participants, who can join us via Skype.

Please let us know if you’d like to join us or if you’ve got any questions or tasks to suggest.

Deadline: April 8

  1. I will like to participate by remote access, if it is possible, I’m a non technical person, do a lot of test at OJS. OJS is a part of the National Open Access initiative and strategy for journals who wants to publish Open Access here in Denmark.
