Postby produnis » Thu Nov 08, 2007 5:43 am

Hi there,
first of all thx for the great work... OJS is really great... but:

I have n mystic error....
If I try to do my job as an editor, I get the following error:

I am logging in, and choose my role as an editor...
then, I got the following error-message:

Code: Select all

Warning: import(submission/eDitor/EditorSubmission.inc.php) [function.import]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
(...my path...)/ojs_web/includes/functions.inc.php on line 21

Note the Big D in submission/eDitor/...

I can't remember change anything...
yesterday, everything works just fine, today I get this bugg...

Could someone please help me?

Hi produnis,

I suspect you've made an accidental modification; "eDitor" doesn't appear in the source code for OJS 2.1.1. Try searching the code for the typo -- on a Linux machine, I can use:

Code: Select all

find /path/to/ojs -exec fgrep -l eDitor "{}" ";"
...replacing /path/to/ojs with the installation path on your server.

Hi Alec,
thanks for your answer..

I didn´t change anything,
ojs was running fine for 3 weeks...
today I got this error without changing anything...
neither code nor settings...

but the real spooky thing is, that now everything is running fine again, without me doing anything to fix that bug but posting to this forum

i am a bit confused and will check all log-files by now

thx again,
