Upgrading to newer versions in the future.

Postby stabb » Sun Aug 19, 2007 7:08 am

Hi mj ANDOR Alec

I was just wondering whether my slightly editted version of OJS will be easilly upgradeable when It comes the time.

I have made changes to
& possibly some insignificant bits into /classes ...tho I may not have.

I have a test site so i can take the precautions, but it would be good to know.

Thanks and Regards

Hi James,

Upgrading a lightly modified version isn't too difficult, depending on the modifications, if you use the diff / patch toolset. These are standard *NIX tools, although they're available on Windows machines too.
