just now figured it out. But....

Postby dinesh » Mon Jun 11, 2007 12:25 pm

just now I could make it appear. But is it a bug? I don't know. well, here is what i did.

I had one redirect from the conference site to the scheduled conf. as advised by Alec. May be that is the problem. I commented the line

Code: Select all

 if (!$schedConf || !$conference) Request::redirect(null, null, 'about');

in the AboutHandler.inc.php and it appeared. But then again, it was not displaying the registration methods. When i check the "Do not make this registration type publicly available." box in the 'Edit registration type" page, it is getting displayed. Is it a bug? or did i do something wrong?

thanks and regards

dinesh

Hi Dinesh,

Chances are that you're looking at different URLs, one which specifies a scheduled conference, one which doesn't. For example, the URL http://url-to-ocs/index.php/[conf_path]/[sched_conf_path]/about/registration, the [conf_path] part of the URL and the [sched_conf_path] part of the URL must both be set in order to display the registration information (which is what the line you commented out was supposed to check).

If the [sched_conf_path] part is set to "index", that means no scheduled conference was specified in the URL.
