Strange behaviour by automatic remider

Postby msaghaei » Mon Jan 15, 2007 4:36 am

Hi Alec

It seems that sometimes our automatic remider system sends emails to reviewers well before any due date (response and submit) is reached. A reply from one of reviewers indicate that the remider has been triggered the same day as the review request. The setting for "If reviewer has not responded to a review request within" is targeted for 3 days. Please advice me if anything is wrong with our server or with our OJS setup. The cron job is set to be run every other day.

Hi msaghaei,

There was a flaw in the fix for bug #2397 (see for which I believe you previously applied a patch. There's an updated patch on the bugzilla page for the bug; to go from the previous fix you applied to the updated fix, use;r2=1.22. Please let me know if you notice any unusual behavior.
