PDF [Language] in the TOC

Postby alanden » Thu Mar 27, 2014 2:46 am

How can I in the TOC omit reference to the language, so that only PDF appears, and not i.e. PDF [English] or PDF [Swedish]?
The homepage of our journal is bilingual, but we publish articles in several languages. It doesn’t look so good when PDF [Swedish] appears in the TOC, whereas the article is in i.e. Norwegian.

Hi Annette,

You can edit the file in classes/article/ArticleGalley.inc.php and look for the function called getGalleyLabel(). You can comment out the entire if () {..} statement that puts the locale description in parentheses after the galley label.

Hi Annette,

Yes, most likely.
