Articles appear in "Archive" section

Postby Garant » Thu Jan 23, 2014 9:15 am

Hi!
I have a question.
From multiple journals only one has an archive section. And when I publish old issues they appear in that section(User home-> "Archive").
This issue is regarded only to one journal. Others doesn't have such thing.
Is it a bug?
Thank you!

Hi Garant,

All journals should have an Archive section; it's not possible to disable it e.g. in setup. I suggest checking your PHP error log to see if anything shows up there.

Hi Garant,

That looks as it should -- the Editor role doesn't list the Archive distinctly as the Author role does, but if you click on Editor, you'll gain access to it. Note that the counts are relevant to the role they appear beside -- e.g. the Archive count (376) is the number of archived submissions that user submitted as author.
