OCS for Conference Proceedings

Postby djsmith » Tue Nov 12, 2013 2:03 pm

We are a professional association that holds a conference once every two years. We have conference proceedings from the past that we would like to be made available to the public. Can OCS be used as a conference proceedings archive? We have been looking at digital repositories (e.g. DSpace) and OJS. We might be interested in OCS as a future conference management tool but we want to make sure that we can use it as a repository for our proceedings.

Hi djsmith,

OCS is intended to continue to host conference proceedings after a conference event has concluded; it's probably not as feature-risk as a dedicated repository application. Depending on your requirements, it may be sufficient.
