403 Forbidden You don't have permission....

Postby Albert » Mon Sep 02, 2013 2:13 pm

Hello There,
I just started to install OJS 2.4.2. When I enter on any browser: http://www.mydomain.org I get the message “Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.” This is the third time that I install OJS. In the first two installations, I did not find any problem along the way. I set all the permissions according to the instruction file.
In the instructions, there is mention about a patch, but I understand that version 2.4.2 is ready to be installed without any patch.
I would appreciate very much your help!

Hi Albert,

This isn't an OJS issue. Your web server must be configured to allow access to the directory that you've installed OJS into. What webserver are you using? Apache?
