Hi there,

I run several journals on one instance of OJS. One of the journals would like to remove the step from the reviewer process whereby the reviewer is able to upload their version of the document. I've found through another thread that I am able to remove this step by commenting it out on the templates/reviewer/submission.tpl file. This of course will affect all of the journals on our instance, which I don't want. Is there the potential to edit these .tpl in such a way that changes would take affect in only one particular journal?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi Roger,

You can use Smarty's conditional statements to make edits that are journal-specific, i.e.:

Code: Select all

{if $currentJournal->getPath() == 'myJournalPath'}
    {* The code within this conditional block will only be executed for the journal with "myJournalPath" as its path *}
    {* This code will be executed for all other journals *}
