jquery.cookie.js error

Postby dgxman » Tue Jan 03, 2012 8:44 am

I am OJS 2.3.4 for a scientific journal. Recently, when I browse through the site, my IP address is blocked by the web host. I could find out from the logs that the problem occurs when the file jquery.cookie.js is accessed. The problem appears to be due to a mod_security firewall rule which thinks that this is a scripting attack. My webhost has not heeded to my requests to change the firewall rule.

A similar error occurs in Drupal and there is a workaround suggested. Is there a similar workaround in OJS?

Hi all,

This has also been filed at http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8040; I'll continue the discussion there.
