Managing metadata with PKP

Postby sophonie » Sat May 16, 2009 12:14 pm

I just installed PKP on my computer, and i heard that PKP don't be able to manage metadatas.
In fact, a layer must be installed to manage metadatas.
What's trully, the action to realize?

Hi Sophonie,

You'll have to be a little more specific about your question, please. PKP produces several pieces of software, so if you could let us know the particular application (OJS, OCS, L8X, Harvester) and which version, we may be able to better address your question. All of the PKP applications do have varying degrees of metadata editing and management, without requiring any additional software to be installed (beyond PHP and, eg. MySQL). If you can let us know some more information about what you're trying to do specifically, we should be able to provide a more helpful answer.
