Using software other than OJS for the front-end

Postby roxann » Fri Jul 18, 2014 7:08 am

Is anyone using OJS as the back-end journal management system, but using another program for the front-end publishing face? I'm looking into using Wordpress as the publishing face because there is so much more you can do with it in terms of presentation and layout, but I'm wondering if anyone else has other ideas. Thanks!

Hi Roxann,

I've written up a page on our wiki that discusses Wordpress integration options: ... ntegration. This guide could be abstracted for other applications (Drupal, Joomla, etc.) easily enough, as they mostly share the same sort of functionality. If you have any questions, let us know.
