I tried before, inside lib/pkp but not worked:

Code: Select all

 patch -p1 --dry-run < 6635.patch
patching file classes/plugins/
Hunk #1 FAILED at 68.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 92.
2 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file classes/plugins/
can't find file to patch at input line 87
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
|diff --git a/tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php b/tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php
|index c38159f..a0a2eee 100644
|--- a/tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php
|+++ b/tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php
File to patch: tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php
tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php: No such file or directory

Hi Luciano,

Actually, the patch for OJS 2.4.2 is cc4be218320d7cf4480a3dc1b15a54b29d3e5a6e.diff from the ojs-stable-2_4 branch. Applying it to a stock 2.4.2 installation gives me...

Code: Select all

patching file classes/plugins/
patching file tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php
Hunk #1 FAILED at 25.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file tests/classes/core/PKPRequestTest.php.rej
patching file tests/classes/core/
Hunk #1 FAILED at 32.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 106.
Hunk #3 FAILED at 157.
Hunk #4 FAILED at 240.
Hunk #5 FAILED at 258.
5 out of 5 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file tests/classes/core/
That's a successful patch in classes/plugins/ and two failed applications to files in the tests/ subdirectory. You can ignore the latter -- those are showing up because the process of building the tarball strips out the tests. Just clean out the .rej files that patch leaves around and you should be fine. (Or clean up the patch file to just include the first part.)
