Exporting users: Undefined variable: interestsNode in...

Postby koantum » Sat Mar 01, 2008 7:34 pm

Searching "interestsNode" yielded one issue about importing users. My issue here is about exporting users. When I do this (via journal administration) I get this notice

Notice: Undefined variable: interestsNode in .../ojs/plugins/importexport/users/UserExportDom.inc.php on line 52

about as many times as there are users. This is followed by a display of what looks like a continuous, unstructured stream of user data. It's not a priority headache, but I thought I should mention it here.

Hi koantum,

Try applying the patch at http://pkp.sfu.ca/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/ojs2/plugins/importexport/users/UserExportDom.inc.php.diff?r1=1.14;r2=1.15; this should address the export warning message.

Thank you, Alec, that patch did it.
