Uploading image for journal page

Postby pfhoenix » Wed Nov 07, 2007 8:15 am

I'm trying to upload an image for use as a journal's homepage content, but I consistently get the error that the image is in an invalid format. I've converted the image to all three accepted formats without success, and I've also tried different directories on my HD (c:\ won't even work), since I thought that perhaps spaces in the path could be a problem. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Hi pfhoenix,

OJS uses PHP's "mime_content_type" function to determine file types; it sounds like that function isn't properly configured. Search this forum for mime_content_type for previous discussions on the subject.
