Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/webmast/web-

Postby ramon » Wed Oct 03, 2007 5:52 am

Alec,

Any ideas why this may be happening?
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/webmast/web-data/pseer/ojs-2.1.1/cache/fc-journalSettings-1.php on line 47

Here's an example!

The portal is here!

Not sure if it may be related to character set problems, or database connection problems... One journal was migrated without the transcode option...

Hi Ramón,

It appears that the legacy magic_quotes_runtime option in php.ini causes some versions of PHP to behave in a spectacularly odd fashion; try disabling it and see if that solves the problem.
