Problem with COPYEDIT_COMPLETE email template

Postby msaghaei » Thu Jun 14, 2007 3:18 am

Hi ALec

COPYEDIT_COMPLETE email is sent only for the first author (as cc). I thnk if anything should be sent to authors, it should be sent to either the corresponding author or to the submitter (I prefer sending to all auhtors).

Hi Mahmoud,

Thanks for pointing this out. For consistency with the rest of the system, I've fixed the code so that it sends the email to the submitting user. There is a patch available at At some point we'll be addressing a few requests for the ability to CC additional authors on the editorial emails (along with, potentially, the ability for other authors to follow the editorial process with their own user accounts), but we haven't made a final decision yet.
