Unassigned or In Review?

Postby r2d2 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:19 pm

I couldn't find an answer for this issue (or bug) anywhere in the forum.

We are using OCS 2.0. What is the criteria for a paper to be directed by the system to UNASSIGNED or IN REVIEW? Although we assigned all Track Directors for each track via Conference Manager page, all submissions still go to the UNASSIGNED tab, and our Director needs to choose Track Directors for each paper. I know that previous submissions must be assigned manually but this is happening for all new submissions... We are using "abstract and proposal together" mode. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi r2d2,

If your SEs are assigned, they should definitely receive the submissions automatically. I've found a bug report for this, but in OCS 2.1 and not 2.0 (see http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3444). I'd recommend upgrading to 2.1.2 or 2.3 if you can.
