include/ Error

Postby Panos » Tue Dec 04, 2007 2:45 am

Hi, all

In the [Abstract and Paper Submission form] I always get this message:

Warning: include_once(include/ [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\congress2008\include\ on line 31

but the form works fine.

Any solution?

Hi Panos,

Is this a fresh installation of OCS? If so, did you follow the installation instructions in docs/README? Check to make sure that C:\xampp\htdocs\congress2008\include\ exists.

Thank you for your quick response. It was my fault. Old ocs installation.

I want to notice something else about the characters encoding and the character sets for other languages than english, cause i saw that this is a problem for a lot of participants in this forum.
I'm using english, french and greek character sets in the same OCS installation with EasyPHP or Xampp as Http servers. For this configuration the solution is to move iconv.dll from the php library directly in the apache dir (c:\easyPHP\apache or c:\xampp\apache). I think this is helpful.

And something more, We prepare as soon as possible a full OCS translation for greek language.

That's all, and thank yoy again.
