non-western language support problem in OCS 2.0

Postby fujiang » Sat Nov 03, 2007 3:30 am

Hi All,

I recently downloaded and installed the latest OCS system (2.0) on a server:

OS platform Linux
PHP version 5.1.6
Apache version Not available
Database driver mysql
Database server version 5.0.37-standard-log

and set

locale en_US
client_charset utf-8
connection_charset utf8
database_charset utf8

But any Chinese characters are display like '????'.

I tried a solution suggested at viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1909

which is to comment out lines 93-108 in classes/form/

The problem is still there.

It would be great if anyone here could help me out from this problem.

Many thanks,

Hi fujiyang,

I've continued the discussion at (It's easier for us to follow if threads don't get split.)
