install problem with php

Postby karindar » Thu Jul 19, 2007 1:06 pm

I'm trying to install OCS 2.0; the db is up, but when I go to the index page, I get a Firefox message:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I untarred the package on the server, so I don't think there's anything wrong with the install. Any ideas?

Hi Karin,

This sort of problem is caused by particular web server/PHP configurations that don't support PATH_INFO URLs. Try turning on the disable_path_info option in your to work around it.
