[SOLVED]New articles go to "review" instead of "unassigned".

Postby mbria » Mon Oct 25, 2010 3:08 am

Hi,

Recently I installed a OJS for a couple of e-magazines. In one of them the system works as expected (articles go to "unassigned" until the Editor assign them to Section Editors) while in the second, articles go directly to "review".

With this scenario looks like this is a configuration issue... but, although checked carefully both configurations, I can't find what param I need to change to make the second magazine work as the first one.

Does any body know how to fix this?

Thanks a lot for your help,

m.

Hi mbria,

This is happening because you have Section Editors assigned to Sections. As Journal Manager, edit each of your Sections, and if you don't want submissions to be automatically assigned to Section Editors, make sure none are listed there.

Thanks Alec,

The problem was exactly what you pointed. Removing default "Section Editors" did the job.

Sorry for the annoyance.

Thanks a lot for your help,

m.
