Error at include metadata in a new language

Postby CFreire » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:18 pm

Hi guys:
The system is not accepting the inclusion of metadata in another idioma (in this case, English); accusing the absence of metadata in the principal language. What is not true.
The error returned is the error "standard":

Errors occurred processing this form:
* Please enter the title of your article. (Português (Brasil))
* Please enter the abstract of your article. (Português (Brasil))

Note: this error appeared "suddenly" after having already published several editions without a problem.
Any idea?

Time, please! :(
I discovered (too late?) this link: http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4144
Is this my case?

Hi Carlos,

Is Porguguese your principal language? If it is, you will have to enter all mandatory field information in Portuguese. If you are already doing this but encountering an error, please let me know. Please also let me know which pages are giving you this error.

Cheers,
James

Hi, James:

Yes, Portuguese is my principal language, but...
As usual, the error was between the chair and mouse :(
Instead of changing the language of form - as I had done several times, I started to change the language on the side menu ... Why, please do not ask me.

I hope this post serves at least to other idiots like me!

Thanks for your reply

Cheers, Carlos
