Prepared Emails possibility to choose sender’s email address

Is there a way to replace or choose beforehand sender’s email address at the Prepared Emails which are automatically sent to users from the system (for example in the User Register or in the User Validate email templates)? In some journals the management of such tasks like account management or user registration is done by the person stated as Technical Support Contact (Set Up step 1.3). It would be most convenient if those emails could be sent from that email address so the users can contact with the right staff at the beginning. At the moment we’ve changed the email address at the Principal Contact email field in order to overcome the problem. Any suggestions?

We are using OJS 2.3.X

Hi Efi,

Each email is individually coded in PHP to come from a particular participant in the journal; to change who an email comes from, you'll need to first identify the email, then find the relevant code and change the sender address there. Which emails specifically are you interested in?
