parallel sessions end times

Postby vwzombie » Sat Jun 04, 2011 5:37 pm

Hi
We are running parallel sessions which have the same start time but different end times. In the conference schedule the sessions are displayed by start time but the sessions are grouped under one end time rather then under the different end times that have been allocated. Is there any way to display the parallel sessions with the different end times?
Thanks

Hi
Not sure now that I posted this on the correct forum but I have resolved this problem by adding

Code: Select all

{assign var=lastEndTime value=0}

changing

Code: Select all

{if $lastStartTime|date_format:$datetimeFormatShort != $startTime|date_format:$datetimeFormatShort}

to

Code: Select all

{if $lastStartTime|date_format:$datetimeFormatShort != $startTime|date_format:$datetimeFormatShort || ($showEndTime && $lastEndTime|date_format:$datetimeFormatShort != $item->getEndTime()|date_format:$datetimeFormatShort)}

and adding

Code: Select all

   {if $showEndTime}
      {assign var=lastEndTime value=$item->getEndTime()}
      {/if}

after

Code: Select all

{assign var=lastStartTime value=$startTime}

in \templates\schedConf\schedules\expanded.tpl
Not sure if this is the best or correct way to do it but it seems to work - if anyone knows different please let me know :)
Cheers
Jad
