PostgreSQL doesn't support the DELETE ... LIMIT syntax used in deleteRecord. See http://pkp.sfu.ca/support/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11541

Also, it's not clear to me that if there are multiple matches, the DELETE ... LIMIT will delete the correct one. If it's OK to delete all matches, then that would be an easy solution; otherwise, some kind of identifier is probably needed in order to get the right one.
