It would be handy to indicate registration status to site visitors who are logged in. Currently, a visitor would have to visit the Registration page specifically to see whether they have been registered, and even that page doesn't have much in the way of information. I would suggest:

1. Modifying the Registration page (http://git/ocs/index.php/ccsp/con2010/schedConf/registration) so that when a logged-in user who has registered visits, the text reads something like

"You are already registered for this conference as a {registrationType} registration type, and your registration has been paid. Please contact the principal contact [this should be hyperlinked] if this is in error or you would like to change your registration to one of the following."

... followed by the list of registration types, incl. fees and descriptions.

2. Adding some sort of "Registered!" icon/text to the User Home page, maybe floating next to the Scheduled Conference name. If the user has not yet registered for this conference, this text can say "Register for the conference!". The text can link to the registration page, above.
