Description James MacGregor 2008-05-07 19:52:45 PDT
If I create a domain/IP-required registration, users can self-register to it like any other; however, there is no field for them to add their IP addresses or domains for inclusion.

If they were able to do this, the IPs/domains would of course have to be reviewed by a conference manager before going 'live'. Perhaps we could add a "requested IP/Domain" field to the registration form, which would then be displayed and either confirmed by checkbox or copied to the relevant field when a manager goes to check on registrations?

Similar functionality could also be used in OJS' payments/subscription support.

Hmm, I don't expect this would be useful enough to warrant the time -- it would be confusing to most registrants, and since it would need review anyway, the "special requests" field is probably good enough for the task.

Deferring for future consideration.
