James' Monash scratchpad

Materials received from Monash

1 zip file containing a bunch of stylesheets as well as an example set of documents.

Notes

  • their XSL only works with Docbook 4. We'll have to figure out whether we want to go back to Docbook 4 (a drag, and probably not the smartest way to do it) or convert their XSLT to work with Docbook 5 (also a drag, but the proper one).

Monash's workflow process

This is as near as I can figure it out so far.

1. Receive a Word doc from author with specified template markups alread embedded (os080004.word.doc/.xml -- if it comes in as a regular .doc, they convert it to Office's XML format); 2. more to come.
