What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:
1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

Removing unaccepted abstracts

I notice several people have submitted the same abstract a number of times. Is there anyway to remove them without accepting or rejecting and then deleting in "Edit a Submitted Paper"?

Hi Nicole,
There's a work-around you can use to delete a proposal without accepting or rejecting it first. Find out the proposal's ID under the Reviews list (i.e. 10 for "Proposal #10"); then go into the "Edit a Submitted Paper" list and edit any paper. You should find yourself at a URL like http://www.mysite.com/ocs/admin/editpaper.php?edit=9.
You can jump to the editing page for the proposal you want to delete by changing the 9 in the above URL for the proposal ID, e.g. 10 in the above example, and loading the page. On the resulting page, you'll be able to delete the paper.
OCS 2.0 will have a less clunky way of accomplishing this.
