Hi gavara,

The sidebar.tpl file has been removed in favour of the "blocks" plugin structure. Look in the plugins/blocks directory; each plugin is responsible for one of the sidebar components. If you have a question about a particular piece of text, I can tell you where to look for it.

Hi gavara,

Are you using a modified custom.css? There was a change between OJS 2.1.1 and OJS 2.2 that will cause this to happen. The "sidebar" style needs to be changed to a "rightSidebar" style instead.

Thanks very much, now in homepage journal it's ok. In custom.css i have eliminated all reference to sidebars.
The block plugin work for default.

But now i have some problem in journalstylesheet.css I have sidebar on the left. I have eliminates all reference to sidebar but the problem persisted.
Where I change this value?

regards

Hi gavara,

What are you using for layout settings on Setup page 5? You can choose which sidebar the various sidebar blocks appear upon.

thanks asmecher;I have put sidebar block on right but I see it on the left. And if I put some block on the left (like feed) I see it upon on the right sidebars(all in left ).
Have I to change some value in journalstylesheet?

Hi gavara,

Try removing your custom journal CSS temporarily to see if that's conflicting. You may need to revisit your CSS to see what's conflicting.

the conflict is my journalstylesheet.css. I have removed it but now i have the follows problem to uoload "Invalid journal stylesheet format. Accepted format is .css."
The format of journalstylesheet is correct "css"
Maybe the problem is the poit "css."

hi Asmecher I don't think that the problem is mime_content_type' because the image work ok, and in the same server I have ojs 2.1 and it work ok.
I want to upgrade to new release.
The same stylesheet upgrade correctly in 2.1 but has the problem of invalide css in 2.2.
how do you think?

I have remove comments at the beginning of css.

Hi gavara,

The content type detection code has changed slightly between 2.1.1 and 2.2, so perhaps that's what's causing the problem -- but could you double-check to make sure your "public" directory and all of its contents are writable by the web server user? If the permissions are not set correctly, this sort of error message can arise.
