What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

multiple journal in same hosting and same database

Hi,
We have 3 journals and 3 domain names. And we are hosting them in same space. Sample xxx.com, yyy.com, zzz.com. We want to use OJS and these web sites in one mysql database.
Please help me.

Hi mvsahin,

If you're using Apache, there are a few posts on this discussion board relating to mod_rewrite; I'd suggest reviewing those.

I have a similar issue and I searched and found 2 pages of mod_rewrite topics

I did not found one topic directly related to this

I have my OJS running at revistas.redepsi.com.br

I have rewrite so I can have:
http://revistas.redepsi.com.br/JOURNAL
http://revistas.redepsi.com.br/JOURNAL1

Now the Journal editor wants to have his own domain

he wants to have http://www.journal.com

The problem is that http://www.journal.com has to be redirect to http://revistas.redepsi.com.br/JOURNAL

and not to http://revistas.redepsi.com.br/

is that possible with mod_rewrite?

I am also interested in achieving the same and have meanwhile found the following: http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/ApacheRedirect.html

Would this help?

Hi all,

mod_rewrite is a great place to start; I'd also suggest looking into mod_proxy, mod_proxy_http, and mod_proxy_html.
