What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
Hi - I'm finding that when I go to select a section editor through the 'Select Section Editor' page, their stats will show as 'active' for all the subs they have handled - even those archived/declined.
For instance, one editor reads 6 under 'Active' but when you look at her actual active files, she only has 3 - but she has 2 archived and 1 declined. (But she shows none as 'completed' - which I take it only means those subs that are actually published?)
This is not handy, as we have a policy of only giving editors 5-6 subs at a time, and the stat of 'active' is thus not useful at all.

Currently, a submission to which an editor is assigned can only be counted as "Completed" when it's published. Obviously this isn't a great metric. I've added a Bugzilla entry recommending that it change; see http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2982
. I'd suggest adding yourself to the CC list for the bug so that you'll be notified when its status changes.
