Earlier I tested OCS using a v2 tarball, but now I'm trying from CVS but not having much luck getting the install to complete. Is there anything I need to know when trying to install the CVS version.
I can get to the install page, but never beyond it (I only get a blank response with no html source) and apparently no httpd error log entry either. I also tried using tools/install.php and it instantly completed without any errors, yet no db tables have been created.
Any tips?

I should mention that I've installed: http://lib-pkp.lib.sfu.ca/ocs/download/ ... 0-1.tar.gz without any trouble on the same machine.

Looks like the installer was broken by some plugin changes; it should be fixed.

The best thing to do is search Bugzilla (http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla) for entries that are marked as completed against the next release (for OCS, use 2.0.1). Most of the work since 2.0 was released has been back-ports from OJS, which are listed in bug #2883.
