There are a number of little W3C (validation) formatting issues with various .tpl's, etc. Should I submit them as possible fixes as I go through building my site?
And, if so, how should I go about doing that? Just thought I'd help.

Anything you find is much appreciated. The best way to submit them is as unified patch files (e.g. diff -u old-file new-file). File bugs against the next release (currently version 2.2) using Bugzilla at http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla
Alternately, you can reach the team directly at email@example.com
