Max granularity is YYYY-MM-DD: 2007-03-06T18:30:00Z

Hi,

I am using PKP harvester 2.0.1 with PHP 4.3.4. When I try to update metadata index from admin UI, it gives the error "Max granularity is YYYY-MM-DD: 2007-03-06T18:30:00Z"

Also using the command line tool when I run:
$php harvest.php all from=last
it gives the following errors:

1. Errors/Warnings:
No items match. None. None at all. Not even deleted ones.

2. Errors/Warnings:
The combination of the values of the from, until, set, and metadataPrefix arguments results in an empty list.

Cheers,

Hi Filbert,

Those messages are being reported by your OAI data sources. Are you sure that new records have been entered since the last harvest? If you flush the archive's metadata first, then harvest it again, do you have the same problem?

Errors/Warnings: The combination of the values of the from

Postby Filbert Minj » Sun Mar 11, 2007 10:12 pm

Hi Alec,

I can understand the first error, if there are no new records added then this message comes. But the second one that is "Errors/Warnings:
The combination of the values of the from, until, set, and metadataPrefix arguments results in an empty list" error is I think because of some problem in the OAI data source. May be you have an idea whay this error and how to handle this in PKP harvester2.

Thanks,

-

Hi Filbert,

Could you post the OAI URL and the specific dates you're using to harvest? Are you harvesting by set, or updating the entire repository? If you'd rather not post that information on the forum, feel free to contact me personally.

Hi Filbert,

One problem is that your DSpace installation is serving up invalid data; the XML it's feeding to the Harvester contains invalid characters, i.e. it won't pass through a validator.
