What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
One more question I forgot to include in previous post. Most of the OJS journals are using webpage version of the article. We want to post PDFs only. Will this work ok? It would be ok to have a pre-view page with only the abstract and citations, but frankly, the whole thing is free so people previewing isn't saving anyone any real time! IF there is a good reason for not using pdf versions only, I'ld ove to know!

PDFs are fine -- a number of our users publish with PDF only. Just make sure that you've configured an external tool in config.inc.php to extract text from PDF files for indexing, otherwise full-text searches will not work. There are example configuration lines in the configuration file.
