Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

I have two ojs instances set up. Both are

One has the email template clickable icons in the prepared email section. The other does not. What might the problem be?

Hi Julie,

I'd suggest making sure you're using the same version of OJS for both installations. If dbscripts/xml/version.xml insists that you're using 2.1.0-1 for both installations, you can check to see what specific revision of the associated template is. Look in templates/manager/emails/emails.tpl for the line in the header that says something like:
Code: Select all
* $Id: emails.tpl,v 1.26 2006/09/05 02:05:30 alec Exp $
. If you're using 2.1.0-1, it should be version 1.23 on both installs.

Hi Alec,

My mistake, they're both 2.1.1, so I'm assuming I should see 1.26?
