call the Journal Abbreviation, in a template

Postby nelson » Wed Jan 24, 2007 5:26 pm

Hallo,
how can I call the vaule of "Journal Abbreviation", in a template, to obtain for each review a string like:

"This is: (jounal abbreviation)" instead of Journal title.

Thanks
Alf

Hi Alf,

Use the currentJournal variable, e.g.:
Code: Select all
{if $currentJournal}The current journal is: {$currentJournal->getSetting('journalInitials')}{/if}
