Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

have a different sidebar for each review

in my OJS i have 3 reviews, each review staff wants a different organization of the sidebar:

one wants the login block, an other review wants just a Login Link, the third wants just the search block

so: how can i realize differents sidebars or different settings for the same sidebar?

Hi Alf,

The next release of OJS will include a Layout Manager plugin which will allow this sort of modification to be made on a per-journal basis. In the meantime, you'll need to hack templates/common/sidebar.tpl to make this change. I can provide details if necessary.

Thanks Alec,
mine was just an hypothesis for the future, because of course none will agree with the custom sidebar, customers feel pleasure to complicate my life, so normally i try to make previson on what will they ask.
I'll ask for help in future.
