Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

patching documentation?

Postby jasonnolan » Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:04 pm

I've read everything on http://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs_documentation and there's no instructions on patching. I've been told i need the http://pkp.sfu.ca/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/ojs2/p ... 36;r2=1.37 patch, but I can't find instructions. Of course searching on PKP support would be wise, but 'installing patches' or any variation there of, didn't help me. Or I missed it.

Thanks for direction!

Hi Jason,

There are some brief directions at http://pkp.sfu.ca/support/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1342; if you're using a Unix-like OS, the patch tool should already be installed. If you're using Windows, see http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/patch.htm. Let me know if you need further information.
